Seminar Review

On March 26th Dr. Dave attended a seminar in Bellevue on management of personal injury cases.  The highlights of this seminar: It is not uncommon for symptoms to begin a month or more after the traumatic event, such as a motor vehicle collision, and to persist for years afterward.   The sooner a person comes in for care the better their recovery in regards to long term symptoms.  It is important to follow your recommended treatment plan and avoid long gaps in care.  These gaps can be used by the insurance company to weaken your legal case. Insurance companies are using social media like Facebook to gather information about you that may be contradictory with your claim.  Do not discuss your accident on Facebook!   If you have any questions about how to handle your injury claim, we can provide referrals to qualified attorneys.

Doctors Speak Out

One of our guiding principles here at CLC is personal growth attained through education.  We strongly believe that the more you know about how your body works and about how chiropractic care can improve the function of your nervous system, the healthier you can be.  Our chiropractors are available to come to your office, your classroom, your group, or to your event to speak about the value of chiropractic care.   Please inquire at the front desk if you are interested in arranging a presentation.

What is a Neti Pot?

If you're one of the millions of Americans dealing with chronic sinus problems, you know how miserable the headaches, facial pain, and clogged nasal passages can be. In their search for relief, many sinus sufferers have turned to nasal saline irrigation using a Neti pot – a ceramic pot that looks like a cross between a small teapot and Aladdin's magic lamp. The nasal passages are lined with a thin layer of mucus that is one of our body's first lines of defense against disease. A nasal wash keeps this layer of mucus moist, clean and healthy. A nasal wash can be as routine as brushing your teeth. Use it anytime to- Remove excess mucus due to congestion. Rid nostrils of pollen and other allergens. Cleanse the nasal membranes of dust, smoke, or other airborne contaminants. Relieve nasal dryness due to air travel. Improve flow of breath before doing relaxation or meditation techniques.
