New Massage Service
Picture a massage treatment where you are lying on a comfortable table, wearing loose-fitting clothing, and stretched in ways that loosen every muscle, tendon, and ligament in your body. This is Thai Table Massage! This new treatment at CLC explores practitioner-assisted stretches for the client on the massage table. These stretches, gathered from many diverse sources, can be done with the client awake or asleep, draped or fully clothed. Try something new! Pam or Michele are happy to schedule you.
Summertime Simplicity
When school ends and the kids are home, what do we do? We plan lots of activities to keep them busy, but do we take time to relax and enjoy the simple pleasures of this season of plenty? Remember…the thing kids need the most from you is your time. Connect with them; be spontaneous; have fun; enjoy their friendship. Say yes as much as possible, say no only when necessary. Lie back on the sweet grass and watch the shifting clouds above.
The summer solstice is a time of growth and abundance. It is a time of immersion in the natural world. In growing our gardens, we connect with the Earth and its nurturing gifts. Embrace the season by eating fresh, locally grown food. Visit a farmers’ market, plant some herbs or tomatoes, and simplify your summertime meals. Create more joy in your life by reaping the bounty of our Northwest environment. And…may the sun shine in your face!
Congratulations, Kelsey!
Michele’s oldest daughter, Kelsey, graduates from Peninsula High School on June 12th, Class of 2011. She will attend Western Washington University in the fall, pursuing studies in dance. Congratulations to Kelsey! We are proud of your achievements!
