For millennia, people have been fermenting foods as a way to preserve the harvest. Cultures around the world have fermented food as a part of their culinary heritage. Join us as we discover the many benefits of fermented foods and learn some ways in which we can Incorporate them into our daily diet. These foods help balance your gut bacteria and improve digestion. Sample delicious artisan ferments available locally to add to your table.
We’ll begin the morning with yoga poses designed to improve digestion and practices to cultivate our “gut instinct”. After our fun in the kitchen, we'll finish with stress-soothing yoga to nurture and support healthy digestion.

At Om in the Kitchen: A morning of Yoga, Herbs & Spring Greens!Saturday, June 10th 2017
We had a wonderful launch to our workshop At Om in the Kitchen! Yoga and breath practice and healthy greens. We learned how to incorporate herbs in our daily eating. We used collards instead of taco shells and sautéed kale, chard, arugula and dandelion greens instead of pasta or rice. A closing restorative yoga practice ended a special time together. Thanks to all who attended.
Second Annual Yeah Baby! ExpoSaturday, May 13th 2017
Dr. Ryan and Sarah attended the Yeah Baby! expo and met with new and expectant parents. Sarah also gave a presentation on the benefits of acutpuncture for children. The past couple years, this has proved to be a fantastic event with lots of great information for those with babies in their lives.

2016 H.A.N.D. Workshop Series
The entire series went very well. Attendees have kept their dedication to their individual goals and have made for a terrific group of encouraging people. Everyone found great value in the gatherings, having learned a great deal about process, connection and assessment. We look forward to relaunching this series with new information in the future.

So much fun to meet all the mommies, mommies to be, daddies, and their little ones at the First Annual Yeah Baby Expo held in Silverdale! The event was a huge success!
All donations from the event went directly to support Kitsap Hope Circle, which provides support for pregnant and postpartum moms. Chiropractic Lifestyle Center is proud to continue to host the Bremerton group in our office on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month at 6:30pm.

Our group had a lot of fun participating in United Way of Kitsap County’s 22nd Annual Day of Caring. We spent the afternoon at Howe Farm in Port Orchard doing trail improvement projects and scotch broom removal. We enjoyed giving back to the community while watching dogs and people enjoy the sunny day!
Suicide Prevention Seminar held at Chiropractic Lifestyle CenterThursday, June 4th, 2015
Local chiropractors gathered in our meeting space to participate in a presentation on the topic of suicide prevention. As chiropractors, we account for the complete wellbeing of our patients; not just the spine and extremities, but the way external factors influence our internal health. We were glad to be able to supply a location for a discussion on this important topic.

This group is for any mom experiencing any kind of emotional or adjustment challenges during pregnancy or postpartum (up to 12 months post birth): stress, exhaustion, feeling isolated or lonely, anxiety, or depression (adoption/birth/foster).
Meets the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month 6:30-8:30pm in the Movement Studio at Chiropractic Lifestyle Center.
Cost: Suggested donation $10
